Perception of dynamic facial expressions: Why the brain is (still) superior to the computer

Our brain processes facial expressions independently of the face shape - which allows us to even understand the emotions of fantasy figures like Master Yoda. Humans are still far superior to artificial intelligence (AI) here, which can recognize human faces very well but fails miserably with fantasy figures unless it has been trained to do so beforehand.
