Dr. Isabel Gugel is the first (neuro)surgeon to be accepted into the “Margarete von Wrangell” program. The fellowship allows her to further build up her scientific profile and to qualify for the appointment to a professorship. “Prof. Dr. Tatagiba and I are very pleased about Dr. Gugel's success, which also highlights the potential of the synergistic and interdisciplinary collaboration between the Department of Neurology and Interdisciplinary Neuro-Oncology and the University Hospital of Neurosurgery,” says Prof. Dr. Dr. Tabatabai.
