For 20 years, the brain and its diseases have been researched at the Tübingen Hertie Institute for Clinical Brain Research (HIH). The aim is to enable new and more effective strategies of diagnosis, therapy and prevention. The close link between the research institute and the Neurological University Hospital under the umbrella of the Center for Neurology ensures that scientific findings can be rapidly transferred into clinical practice. This year, the HIH is celebrating its 20th anniversary. In order to continue to optimally meet the challenges of clinical brain research in the future, the HIH will expand its research spectrum.
