Hayri Can Calap will devote his doctorate to the topic "Anatomische Grundlagen und therapeutische Optionen einer KCNA2 Loss-of-function Variante" and will be supervised by Prof. Holger Lerche, Dr. Ulrike Hedrich-Klimosch and Dr. Peter Müller from the Department for Neurology and Epileptology.
Felix Krautwurst will do research on "Metabolische Effekte einer Angiogenese-Inhibition in experimentellen Gliomen" and will be supervised by Prof. Ghazaleh Tabatabai and Dr. Hannes Becker from the Department of Neurology and Interdisciplinary Neuro-Oncology.
Both candidates were able to convince the committee and will now receive the Johannes Dichgans doctoral scholarship from the Hertie Institute from April 2023 to March 2024.
