The Hertie Institute for Clinical Brain Research was founded on the initiative of Professor Dr. Johannes Dichgans in 2001. On the occasion of his 80th birthday on July 26, 2018, a celebration with invited guests was organized in the summer refectory of Bebenhausen Monastery. In addition to talks, musicians of the trio “ARTON trio” accompanied the event. “It was a wonderful evening that brought back many memories of the HIH’s journey, but we also talked about future plans of the institute,” says Astrid Proksch, administrative director of the HIH. “We are happy that we were able to thank our founding director in this way.”
