Prof. Dr. Matthis Synofzik develops tailored therapies for certain rare gene mutations. The German TV channel ZDF has now reported on the treatment of 5-year-old Poyraz, a patient with ataxia teleangiectasia. He is the first to be treated with this novel gene therapy in Tübingen.
