It’s Brain Awareness Week 2024!

There are a lot of events happening this week at the HIH.

March 11-13 “Stem Cells in Neuroscience” Meeting

Dr. Deborah Kronenberg-Versteeg, head of the "Glia Cell Biology Lab" in Prof. Mathias Jucker's Department of Cellular Neurology, and Dr. Stefan Hauser, head of the “Advanced Cellular Models of Neurodegeneration” lab in Prof. Thomas Gasser’s Department for Neurodegenerative Diseases, have organized the "Stem Cells in Neuroscience" Meeting together with the University of Tübingen, the DZNE and the University of Cambridge.

March 13: ERC Symposium on “Neural and Computational Representations of Bodies and Shapes

The research group of Prof. Martin Giese, head of the “Section for Computational Sensomotorics”,  together with Prof. Beatrice de Gelder (Maastricht University) and Prof. Rufin Vogels (KU Leuven), is inviting everyone to the ERC Symposium on “Neural and Computational Representations of Bodies and Shapes”, happening on 13 March, 2024, from 15:00-19:00 in Tübingen at the lecture hall of the Microbiology/Virology, Elfriede-Aulhorn-Str. 6.

March 14-15: Brain In Depth (BID) Conference

The 5th "Brain In Depth (BID) Conference" will take place in Tübingen, organized by the Research Group "Translational Imaging of Cortical Microstructure" led by Prof. Esther Kühn. 

BID-2024 focuses on bridging the gap between Artificial Intelligence, Computational Modelling and Ultra-high Field Neuroimaging.
